Describe your dog:
<p>
Kenny is an 18 month old Brussels Griffon who came from a home where he was left alone all day. Owner said he had access to a 6000 sq' backyard so got plenty of exercise. Personally I have never met a dog who would go out and play by himself.  She tried to turn him into a lap dog and he rebelled.She couldn't handle his high energy so did the right thing and gave him up for adoption through the BG breed rescue. At 14 inches, he is much bigger then any BG I have ever seen, a good thing considering my fear of stepping on little dogs. At 25 pounds, he needs to lose weight and get in condition before doing any agility.She was totally against crates but the first thing I did was crate train him and he caught on quickly. Nothing like having 2 labs watching you eat to make you feel real comfortable in a crate. VBG He is not noise sensitive,or shy around new people or dogs which can be a breed issue. She also said he was aggressive with other dogs, but I have not seen it. Bailey has put him firmly but gently in his place. Kody watches their antics with a "what the h...." look on his face.

He is going to be Dani's dog but since she is with me 4 days a week they both will be spending a lot of time at the practice field. I am already over the one dog per household allowed here, so it is an ideal situation. I will spend the next few weeks just bonding and doing some basic obedience work and if Kenny proves to be the high energy dog reported, I will start him in agility. Just playing it by ear for the moment
