I set up the sequence and tried it with my young (pre competition) dog last night. The problem I had was when I realized that I had not trained a lateral lead out with him!! You remarked at some point that you trained the lateral lead out very early in your training with a dog. Could you go over some of the steps you use to train that behavior at some point??

I was very pleased that Thunder was able to find his weave pole entry when I said go weave as he was aproaching the jump before the weaves as long as I gave myself room to continue moving forward (towards the ivy!!!! as you put it) (I had to try it under the lights in a corner of the field so the conditions were not ideal and the dog has had physical issues about weaving).I will try tonight or tomorrow with PIppen and see if I can get my husband to video me. I have worked a bit of lateral lead outs with him but I do not really think he understands them.
