Keeping up with the lessons

addictedtolabs's picture

The week is getting away from me. I was able to get to the field and pracice jump box. It looks like this weeks lesson will be out before I can set up the sequence. What is the best way to proceed? Finish lesson 4 before going on or proceed to lesson 5 and catch up when I can? I have plans to do #4 sequence on Sunday but may get rained out.

Cheers,

Jean

Re: Keeping up with the lessons

Hi Jean,

I'd like to say that it's best to take your lessons in order. We do put a lot of thought into the training progression.

As with any school, if you miss on a class, you have to catch up somehow, otherwise your learning will suffer..

However, life is life, and this is just Dog Agility, so do the best you can, ;-)..

P.S.: And though it doesn't rain in the virtual classroom, in real life, I hold classes in the rain, in the heat, during the Holidays, etc... We would train in the snow, if somebody would send us some, ;-)..

Olga.

Re: Keeping up with the lessons

Thanks, finish #4 first.

I have a tight schedule and the lesson came out a day or two later last week and then flash player wasn't working. San Diego weatherman is predicting "storm" Most of the time they are wrong, if not my field will be flooded. Not safe for me or the boys to run in. I am driving up to Contact Point on Saturday with big hopes "storm" holds off. I have heard the creek overflows and washes out the rings. I am glad I only entered the GPX.

Cheers,

Jean

I know how you feel!  I only have access to equipment on my own on Fridays so just did Lesson 4 this week too.
