Bailey Brag in the box

I am almost recovered from a 3 day trial, 3 days off and then another 3 day trial. The end result is Bailey now has his AX and AXJ titles. He completed his Open titles at this same trial last year,so it has been a journey.
Even more exciting, he earned 17 MACH points Sunday, in his first Exc B STD run. He didn't place but was 17 sec. under SCT.His first points, so we only have 643 more to go.
The course was very nice with a tricky ending. You came out of the weaves to a jump box where the 2 sides were small curved tunnels. You had to get your dog over the jump and into the far end of the tunnel on the right, then out and into the far end of the left tunnel, then over the jump to finish. The challenge with a fast dog was to get into position to direct the dog into the correct end of the tunnel without pushing him forward over the last jump.Which is what I did with Kody : ( I knew I would have to leave Bailey in the weaves to do it and although we have practiced it, I hadn't done it in a trial with that much distance. I was so proud of him.
The trial was the 5th annual Wags for Wishes Fundraiser and there were over 4000 agility runs and 6 rings as well as Dock Diving,Lure Coursing,Sheep herding, fly ball and I am not sure what else. It is very well run and lots of fun. Tim and Gwen were there with their fur kids and it was a nice surprise to see them in person. They really ran well.
Cheers,
Jean
