TNT students kick ass

Today I went and trained with Val and Sheryl and they had lesson 16 set up, The Box. It was interesting to see how the course sets up in someone else's agility arena and to see how the course map is interpreted. We had a good time, I got to see Jeldi's (Jello's) dog walk, which looks great and I got to see Roo do some weaves which are also improving. I am very impressed that TNT students are so dedicated to agility. I spoke to some people in Oregon who may sign up, Liz Dodge with Mick was interested. I know it is hard to video when you work lessons but even occasional postings make TNT feel like a group class. I truly hope we can all work together to be better at agility and work with our dogs at such a fun level. I respect all of the TNT students that have sought out training on the internet, which I think is a valid substitute for regular training, especially if you do not have access to a regular instructor. Good job everyone and thanx to Val and Sheryl for inviting me to train with you! ffluffy

Re: TNT students kick ass

I totally agree. We recently had challenges in trials which we had worked through in lessons. The 270, tunnel maze, and the box for example. I am learning to look at courses with a different  perspective. Last weekend, what at first glance looked like a bad approach to the teeter, was just a 180 with the teeter in place of the second jump...

We havent worked on #16 yet. Unless I missed something, its not completely up.

Cheers,

Jean

It was great seeing you again, Alicia and of course, the awesome Pickle. Speaking of being dedicated, everyone should know that Alicia drove half-way across town at 5 in the morning with a thunderstorm looming overhead just in case we could train. Luckily the storm passed over and we were able to go out on the field without having to worry about being struck by lightning!

Now, about Jaldi. It's a good thing you moved to CA or everyone in Tucson would be calling her Jello. LOL!

Ha, ha...I love Jello...I mean Jeldi.  I think it is great you waited until she was fully mature to really start training.  I think with the amount of injuries we are seeing in agility more people will start to do the same.  Thanx for having me and keep up the good work!  ffluffy

And to add to the recent kick butt TNT students' achievements is the news that our virtual students from Singapore, Debra Sim and her husband are chosen to represent Singapore at the Cynosport World Games in Scottsdale!

They are flying to the States ahead of time and will come train with me and your virtual students to tune up before heading for AZ.

Way to go guys!

Olga.
