Fires in California!

Just a quick note to say I hope you guys in California are okay and that noone down there is directly affected by the rash of fires!

My sister and her family have been evacuated from their home in Ramona and are still not in the clear.  Fortunately the fire has not hit their property yet.

YES... hoping all of you who are in California are safe and far away from the fires.... 

Also wishing all the AD students lots of luck at the USDAA Nationals... I won't be going this year (bad timing) but maybe next!

We are thinking of all our california friends and hoping that you and yours are safe from the fires.  for those of you traveling to the USDAA nationals... best of luck, have fun and enjoy the ride.....  Wispy Pippen and I will be there next year!!!

We are in Solana Beach and in the all the smoke and dirt but not in danger.. Have been on evacuation alert for the past 3 days but it looks like the worse is over for the coast. .Suffering from agility withdrawal because of the bad air quality, Looks like Nationals will be our "practice". Bailey will be ballistic. Yell

Jean, Glad to hear you are okay. I wasn't sure what area of San Diego you are in. My sister-in-law was evacuated from the Rancho Penasquitos area early Monday morning, and hadn't heard whether their home was okay. Then last night, a brother in Kansas called her house and got her answering machine...which means the answering machine is still there...those engineers are soooo smart....a big relief for them.

Last year my husband and I bicycled from Yuma, AZ to Carlsbad, traveling through many of the small towns and beautiful areas that I'm hearing have been affected by these fires, including Ramona. Very sad...

Wendy, I hope your sister is okay, too.

PS - Freddie and I are going to Scottsdale to watch the weekend events again this year. Hopefully we can meet up with others...who all will be there?
