Student Video Lesson 18 #4 Bailey

So Jean just posted a new video. Way to stay out of the shopping mall two days before Christmas and train Bailey.

All new uploaded videos will automatically go into the forum, I've manually moved this one. You will see funny code like this. Leave it alone, this is what dispays your video. Be sure to add to the default title "Student Video".

Wisp basic weaves, lateral lead out and teeter101

The lateral lead out from lesson 1 or 2 is coming along well.  I am finding with a border collie it is much easier to see where they are looking than with my other dogs... maybe it's the markings or the ears!  but working with her does make it easier to see how to work the same excercise with the Terriers!

she is doing fine with the weaves and the teeter ground work is fine, however I need to spend more time on having her comfortable at driving to the end of the teeter board before I think about lowering the board with her on it.  Olga, do you agree?? ...elizabeth

Bailey gets his 2nt AKC JWW leg First place

Bailey and I struggled with the poles again. The first run is from Saturday and he was clean except popped out of weaves. But then  today  ( 2nt run on video ) he did great in both Std and JWW. He earned his 2nt Exc. A JWW leg with a First Place running at 5.09 YPS. He had a good STD run with 2 refusals because of my late cues I was very happy with his weaves and the tunnel Aframe discrimination.

Happy New Year

Lesson 5 seq. 5 Bailey

Camera is on a tripod so not able to zoom in and out. Weave pole issue is cropping up again. Good news because it gives me an idea of how  to train. It looks like offside with me parallel needs work. If I stay back and send his performance is accurate. Correct me if I am wrong, I think his weaves should be accurate irregardless of my position.

Cheers,

Jean
