Daisy lesson 15

This was our first opportunity to practice in several weeks.  I literally have been "watching the grass grow" in our newly hydroseeded training area.   I love Daisy's joy in this lesson.  She did not know how to speak before the class discussion, and she does alot of it before/during the first run!

And then there's Daisy..

I also wanted to share this run with Daisy, as it is special to me.  She has always been an environmental stresser and waiting to go into the ring is difficult.  I could tell she was stressing so had her do her "Olga" speak which I taught her after the tnt discussion.   Also, she has never liked the  table in the trial setting ( I do make it FUN in training and she is lightning fast there)---so I was so proud of her efforts in this run.  This was her second trial at the preferred level.

Lesson 8 coarse--Daisy

Again, it was difficult to run and support the dog in the crusty snow.

Lesson 7 serpentine--Daisy

Daisy has a hard time getting her mind off of her toy.  Olga, do you have another behavior besides "speak" to use at the start?  (Neither of my girls will do it, will sit silently and watch me forever).

Lesson5 Seq 1&2 Emmy and Daisy

Hi Olga--This was my first attempt at using the "claw".  Seq 1 is Em, Em, Daisy (focusing on her toy, not her job), Daisy.   Seq 2 is Em, Em, Daisy.  Thanks!

Lesson 5 seq3&5 Emmy and Daisy

Hi Olga--I had an opportunity to set this up and have a friend video.  I was not happy with the surface and won't use it again.  Seq 3 is Em, Em, Em, Daisy.   Seq 5 is just Emmy.  I was not sure she would do that leadout, so over-emphasized it  :-)

Daisy Lesson 6 Seq 1&2

This is Daisy, my older girl.  She is over-the-top toy/pinecone/etc obsessive and it is very difficult for her to focus on her job in training.  This was her first time through the sequences. (The weavepoles are really sliding because of the frozen ground).
