It's been a while since I've posted....life has been really busy...we haven't entered any trials since the two USDAA in August, just training in between the other stuff I 'have' to do (darn it!!!).

Freddie and I were entered in the Contact Point USDAA trial this past weekend. It was a really great experience...lots of things discovered and learned! Eric filmed all 8 of our runs (I think you can view them on his website). I'll tell you, he is one busy guy! I don't know how he keeps it all straight with dogs running in both rings, and I never saw him get a break in the 2 days!

Hi Everybody,

Matt and I packed up the dogs, the tunnel, the weave poles and a jump last Saturday, and hit the road, taking the northern route across country to attend our nephew's college graduation today in Ohio. So far, we've been in CA, NV, AZ, UT, MT, WY, ID, SD, MN, WI, IN, IL, and OH. Tomorrow we head home, taking the middle route that will include Denver, Albuquerque and Flagstaff. We expect to get home Sunday night, in time for work and Freddie's lesson on Monday.

Now that we figured out how to upload our videos (actually, Matt did...I kept looking over his shoulder, asking if he'd figured it out yet......), here are Jumpers Rounds 1 and 2 from Freddie's show-n-go. This is the first full course work we've done. Round 1 was our first run of the day, and is the one where I was so nervous. Round 2 was the third run. That run felt really good. Freddie seemed to be having a good time, too. He was super happy and never gave up.

Okay, thanks to Matt, we think we've figured out how to upload....here's the test file....table is still a work in progress....

I'm off to class with Olga right now, will upload the Show-n-go video tonight when I get home.

This past Sunday Freddie and I went to a local show-n-go, where we entered 6 runs: 2 rounds each of jumpers and standard, and 1 round of snooker and gamblers. This was the first full course work we've done, and I was really excited to see how it would all come together (or not). My husband Matt was sweet and agreed to come and video our runs so I could see how we did. Poor thing, he didn't know he was signing up for 4 hours to tape 9 minutes...
