Jaldi Training Update

It's been a long time since I was online. I haven't had as much time for agility the last few months as I would like, but we're still working on our contacts as much as possible. We were able to go to a USDAA trial this past weekend and I'm happy to report that Jaldi hit all of her dogwalk contacts (only 2, but 100% success) and most of her Aframe contacts. She also performed nice teeters. We need more work on weaves. She qualified on her PVP team and had an awesome Snooker run and did a really hard (for her) gamble. I feel like we are really starting to be a team.

Jaldi - AKC Nov Std

Here is Jaldi's first Standard run since retraining the teeter. I tried to do just what I've been doing in practice which is to stop just 1 step past the end of the teeter and wait for her. We were lucky that the teeter was the 2nd to last obstacle so that we could run out of the ring and have a celebration. She had a perfect teeter. I didn't ask for the bark because it was AKC. They are so picky. It might have gotten called as training. Her table was fabulous, too, and lots of people commented about it.

Jaldi's Great Weekend

I have to add my own shameless brag for Jaldi. I don't have any video, but she earned her P1 Gamblers, P1 Jumpers, & P1 Pairs titles and her first P2 Snooker leg last weekend. The only Q we missed out on was PSJ. The opening was a LOP and I moved too soon. Jaldi dropped the bar on the second jump. Then she worried about it for about half the course. She finally picked up speed after the 2nd aframe, but was not able to make up for the slow start.

Jaldi - Lesson 10 Exercise 1

We tried Lesson 10 Exercise 1 last night. Jaldi got a little distracted which happens rather frequently, so we need to solve this problem.
