NADAC

A Little Brag

Hi, All:

I just wanted to post a little brag. We went to a NADAC trial last weekend and did pretty well for ourselves. The trial was held in a large indoor sports complex and there was a volleyball tournament going on at the same time, so it was extremely noisy. I resorted to Rescue Remedy for Dusty--the first time in a long time. "Soft" Libby seemed to take the noise more in stride.

Dusty & Libby - NADAC Trial 04/08/2007

DAY TWO:  Libby’s Elite Jumpers run was going so well until I was late calling her on the jump after the tunnel, thus incurring an off-course.  Dusty, however, received his first Elite Jumpers Q with a second place.  The elite standard courses on Saturday were the same as the open standard courses – just tighter times and the distance line a little further out.  On Sunday, the elite courses were tough, especially the distance challenges.

Dusty & Libby NADAC Trial 04/07/07

The dogs and I went to our first NADAC trial since the fiasco of New Year’s Eve.  Saturday went pretty well with Libby Q’ing in Elite Jumpers for the first time in a year!  Libby also Q’ed in her second Elite Regular run in spite of me being woefully behind when she comes out of the tunnel in the distance challenge.  This represents Libby’s first Elite Regular Q since July, 2006.  I was very proud of her for being able to go back out to the corr

Wrinkles nadac fundraiser

So this past Saturday Wrinkles and I went to a NADAC trial/fundraiser. We ran 5 runs...novice tch n go, 2-elite regular, elite chances and open jumpers. He did great, but unfortunately his 5 clean runs didn't all count as Q's...in his regular runs he was suppose to go 3.5 yds/sec to Q and he went around 3.3 :( So he really went 3/5. I was really proud of his distance (especially the weaves) and we had a really nice tch n go run i must add with great running contacts!

Bailey NADAC Chances & Jumpers runs

Bailey and I struggled through the Open level NADAC courses this weekend. Halfway through the Jumpers course I heard a Russian voice whisper "give cues in a conversational tone", very scary.

Cheers,

Jean

Dusty Video Footage

I uploaded two video clips from our New Years Eve weekend trial. However, I wasn't able to figure out how to link text with the vidoe.

Dusty - Open Standard - 12/30/06

This is the first run of the weekend involving a teeter, which Dusty performed well.
