Daisy Lesson 6 Seq 1&2

This is Daisy, my older girl.  She is over-the-top toy/pinecone/etc obsessive and it is very difficult for her to focus on her job in training.  This was her first time through the sequences. (The weavepoles are really sliding because of the frozen ground).

Wow you even have your choice of trees for the sequence.  It will be interesting to see what Olga says about stopping the weaves.

Cheers,

It's good to see someone else doing agility in the snow!

Yep, I ran out and set up the coarse between snow and wind storms, something I would not normally do if I were not taking this class  :-)    Definitely looking forward to spring!

Re: Daisy Lesson 6 Seq 1&2

Kari,

I like your Daisy girlie! She has a great attitude. I understand that it's cold and difficult to run, but in general, Daisy would benefit from more of a "hands on" style of handling. That will help her keep focus and stay in the game.

I am very proud of you going out there and setting up sequences to run though it is winter. Your dogs are going to benefit from this extra training greatly. And I am happy to hear that Agility Dynamite! is making you go outside and play with you dogs in the snow, ;-)..

P.S.: I am from Russia.. not sure if you knew. We train in the snow there regularly.. no big deal.

Olga.

Re: Daisy Lesson 6 Seq 1&2

nice job Daisy!

Olga...I was wondering where your accent was from. I'm "pure" Russian. But  out of 4 kids, I was the only one born in America. Unlike my parents all my siblings dont have a Russian accent but talk like every other person born and raised here. Thats funny to know though, if you said anything in Russian I'd understand it ;)

Hi Helen,

I am from Russia and so is my accent, ;-).. Can't boast of pure breeding though, ;-).. my father was Jewish and my mom was Russian.. so that makes me a mutt from Russia with an accent, ;-)..

Olga.
