Wrinkles Lesson 6 course

We were able to make it to Jean's field yesterday =) and run some of the lesson 6 stuff. Here's a video of the course. He did pretty well besides my late commands :-/ His speed wasn't amazing today, probably because we've been doing a lot of agility lately... I'll have to give him a break. Anyways, thanks Jean for letting us come over and thanks for helping me with my bad handling ;-) Enjoy the video :)

Re: Wrinkles Lesson 6 course

nice work Helen! It is lesson 6 not 7. You can go in and edit the title. Easy to get confused since we set up #7 at the end but didnt have time to work on it.

Cheers,

Jean

Re: Wrinkles Lesson 6 course

Good going Helen and Wrinkles! Clean and well executed run. I am happy to hear that you and Jean get together to work on the lessons, and film each other. Wrinkles' weave poles are looking good too.

It's always a good idea to give your dog a break from Agility now and then, so he doesn't get bored or tired.

Re: Wrinkles Lesson 6 course

Wow.  Helen, you really have the 'Jim Basic move' (where you run ahead of your dog in the weaves and get on the other side) down!  You should have tried it in-line as well as doing the front cross.  It is my new fav move (besides the claw) and you will see a lot of it in the next lesson, lesson 9.  Also, Olga gives everyone a talk about staying with your dog in the weaves, 'supporting' them, while they are still learning.  I saw you leave Wrinkles in this video, at the first set of weaves and he looks worried as soon as you take off.  Ask Olga about supporting the weaves and don't forget to send a video as soon as you get your new set.... 6 + 6 = 12!  ffluffy
