Hi guys,

AKC is asking for your opinions on whether mixed breeds should be allowed to participate in AKC Companion Events, i.e.: Agility, Rally, Obedience.

Go make yourself heard, so Helen and Wrinkles can ran at those AKC trials instead of just checking out the courses ringside!

haha yea!! I took the survey and gave them my little bit. Does anyone know how long it will take before they actually allow them to compete if thats the case? If its going to be awhile...I might try and ILP him.

It could take years or might not happen at all. I would try the ILP while he is still young enough to tackle those"easy" courses. (VBG)

Don't wait.  go for the ILP if you can.  I hope that the AKC finally  encourages all dogs to participate in the *same* classes in agility  ie not a class for Purebreds and one for mixed.  If that is the case I will probably start entering the mixed classes for the better competition!!! ..elizabeth
